Towards the Future - 2022

Written for Tuba and Looper Pedal

This song was composed for my Debut Recital on my Youtube Page - Demon Gods, Reflections, and the Future.

Most of my Looper works are heavily inspired by Bill Pritchard’s tuba and looper works - SJP and Miss Me Yet being two of them - and they follow a structure of setting up a loop or two, then having an improvisatory section, then another loop or two, followed by something else, etc. It’s a very structured way to create a “free,” “improvisatory” type solo that allows you to play in a very open way, while still having some structure to keep you moving forward.
