When you are importing the MIDI File from your Music Notation Software of choice into the DAW you choose, it is very important that you ADD an instrument to the grid first and then import the MIDI Data. A MIDI File isn’t a sound file, its essentially just programing telling the electronic instrument what to play, so if you try to import it without an instrument loaded, it probably won’t create sounds….
